Soft tissue sarcomas are cancers that can occur in the fat, blood vessels or muscles of the body. These are the tissues that support the body and protect our organs (and hold us up!)
A fibrosarcoma is soft tissue sarcoma, which starts in cells called fibrocytes. Fibrocytes make up the tissues that join muscles to bones.
A rhabdomyosarcoma is a tumour that comes from the skeletal muscle cells.
